Our Mission

The Break Daily delivers AI business intelligence for founders and operators. We help decision-makers understand what AI developments mean for their companies through daily briefings, deep dives, and data stories.

Sourcing & Verification

Every article is held to these sourcing standards:

  • Primary sources first. We prefer company announcements, official filings, research papers, and statements from named executives over secondary coverage.
  • Link to the source. Articles include links to the original announcement, paper, filing, or report so readers can verify claims directly.
  • Multiple sources for major claims. For significant or surprising developments, we look for independent confirmation before publishing.
  • Attribute opinions. Analyst commentary, market predictions, and executive opinions are attributed to the person or firm that made them.

Analysis & Originality

Our goal is not to rewrite press releases. Each article includes:

  • Context. Why this development matters and what led to it.
  • Implications. A clear "what this means" section explaining the practical impact on founders, operators, and the market.
  • Independent judgment. Where the facts are ambiguous, we say so and lay out the competing interpretations rather than picking one silently.

Corrections

If we publish something that is factually wrong, we correct it promptly and transparently:

  • Material errors are corrected in the article and a correction note is added at the bottom explaining what changed.
  • Minor typographical or formatting fixes are made silently.
  • Readers can report errors at hello@thebreakdaily.com.

Independence & Conflicts

  • Our editorial decisions are independent of advertisers and business partners.
  • We disclose any material conflicts of interest in the relevant article.
  • We do not accept payment for coverage, rankings, or mentions.

AI & Automation Disclosure

The Break Daily uses AI-assisted research and drafting tools to monitor developments at scale and prepare drafts. Every story is reviewed and edited by a human editor before publication, and all claims are checked against primary sources.
